Menifee is one of the fastest-growing cities in all of California, and its rapid expansion over the past decade has transformed it from a quiet retirement community into a vibrant, family-oriented city with brand-new neighborhoods, shopping centers, and schools. With that growth comes thousands of new homeowners looking to personalize their backyards — and in Menifee’s blistering Inland Empire summers, a custom pool is at the top of most wish lists.
Menifee’s Rapid Growth
Since incorporating as a city in 2008, Menifee has experienced explosive population growth. New master-planned communities like Audie Murphy Ranch and Countryside have brought modern homes with generous backyards perfectly sized for custom pools. Unlike some older Inland Empire cities where lots are small and irregularly shaped, many of Menifee’s newer homes sit on quarter-acre or larger lots with flat, buildable backyards.
Sun City and Established Communities
The Sun City area of Menifee — one of the original communities that predates the city’s incorporation — features larger properties and a more relaxed, rural feel. Many homeowners in Sun City are adding pools and outdoor living spaces to their existing homes, taking advantage of spacious lots that can accommodate full resort-style designs.
Family Neighborhoods and Outdoor Living
Menifee’s family demographics make it an ideal market for pools. Young families with school-age children are the core of many neighborhoods, and a backyard pool is the ultimate family amenity. Our designs in Menifee often include kid-friendly features like shallow sun shelves, beach entries, and pool fencing that meets safety codes while maintaining visual appeal.
Outdoor Living Culture
Menifee homeowners embrace outdoor living. The city’s climate supports year-round use of outdoor kitchens, fire pits, and covered patios. We frequently build complete backyard packages that combine a custom pool with an outdoor kitchen, fire pit, and landscaping — all designed and built as a single, cohesive project.
